Fat thighs can be really embarrassing, at first you avoid going to the beach or pool, then the tight clothing moves to the back of your wardrobe, and finally you become so fed  get rid of the fat feeling   up with it you try all the fad diets that just don’t seem to work. So how do you get rid of the fat in your thighs?

First of all, you need a goal – if you’ve got an old pair of jeans or a swimsuit you want to fit into that will do perfectly, otherwise measure yourself and work out how many inches you want to knock off those thighs (make sure you measure your arms, stomach and waistline too!). Having a goal like this is great motivation; it gives you something real to work towards which you will find really helpful. Try and picture yourself reaching your goal, the confidence you will feel, the pride in yourself for accomplishing it – when things get rough, or you get tempted to eat that piece of cake, remember that image.

Okay so you have your goal, now it’s time to figure out how to achieve it. Two things here, diet and exercise… I’m sure you’ve heard of them before, at least I hope so! Exercise is really quite simple, you don’t need to run miles on end to lose weight. The most effective method is a low intensity steady state (LISS), basically a 45 minutes to 1 hour walk 3-4 times a week is all that is needed.
